Bartender at The Riverside, 48 Welsh Back, Bristol (BS1 4SB).

This is a high-volume bar where you'll be the person keeping drinks moving when the queue is three deep. You'll craft cocktails to spec, pour with precision and pace, and run a clean, well-stocked station through the busiest services. Good performance looks like consistent quality and speed under pressure, with genuine hospitality for every guest at the bar.

• Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks to specification

• Keep speed and accuracy at the well during peak service without dropping presentation

• Take orders, make recommendations and build rapport with guests across the full menu

• Enter orders accurately into the POS, follow cash and card procedures, and complete end-of-shift cash-out

• Set up and break down the bar, stock wells and back-bar, cut garnishes and complete side-work

• Keep the bar top, wells, glassware and surrounding areas clean and orderly throughout service

• -12.60 to -13.80 per hour

• Hourly, ongoing work with two positions available

• In-venue bartender training

This is a physically active role. You'll stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, move quickly, and push, pull, carry or lift up to 50 lbs. You'll work across bar, lounge and restaurant settings, indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying noise, crowds, temperatures, lighting, hot surfaces, steam and wet floors. Extended hours, irregular shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays may be required. A neat, well-groomed appearance in line with company standards is expected.
