Salary:41,000 per year
Hours:-Days - Monday to Friday

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) to join their machining team at their Bredbury, Stockport facility. This is a day-shift position working primarily on CNC lathes, focusing on setting and operating to produce high-quality machined components. Programming is-not-required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines

• Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications

• Conducting in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment

• Maintaining machining quality and efficiency standards

• Supporting continuous improvement and safe working practices

• Ensuring accurate job documentation and process adherence

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Setter/Operator)

• Experience-with Fanuc controls (editing)

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Competence with inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)

• High attention to detail and quality standards

• Team-focused with a proactive approach to work
