Commercial Vehicle Technician

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a growing and forward-thinking business.
This role offers a varied workload, working on a range of commercial vehicles, motor vehicles, ATVs and off-road equipment, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and inspections to the highest standards.

The Role
As a Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining vehicle reliability, safety and performance while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop.

Key duties include:
andmiddot;Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and vehicle inspections.
andmiddot;Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
andmiddot;Completing pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
andmiddot;Servicing and repairing commercial vehicles, ATVs and off-road equipment.
andmiddot;Carrying out tyre replacement and wheel alignment work.
andmiddot;Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical documentation.
andmiddot;Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
andmiddot;Maintaining high workshop housekeeping standards.
andmiddot;Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior technicians.
andmiddot;Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Candidate Requirements
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, Agricultural Technician or similar.
andmiddot;Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
andmiddot;Experience working on off-road vehicles advantageous.
andmiddot;Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
andmiddot;Own tools required.
andmiddot;Good computer literacy.
andmiddot;Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
andmiddot;Positive attitude and willingness to undertake further training.
andmiddot;Knowledge of BEV/EV vehicles advantageous.
