Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator

Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 11:00am - 4:00pm

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator to join a busy and expanding business based in Plympton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company experiencing continued growth, offering a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same.

Whether you're coordinating urgent deliveries, supporting customers, or working closely with drivers and logistics partners, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinating scheduled and urgent deliveries across the UK
• Managing customer enquiries and providing real-time updates
• Liaising with drivers, suppliers and logistics partners
• Preparing quotations and responding to service requests
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Identifying opportunities to support business growth
• Ensuring high levels of service are delivered at all times
• Helping maximise operational efficiency through effective planning and communication
  
  

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, logistics, sales support or a similar role
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK and confidence working with locations, routes and distances to support effective delivery planning
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
