Export Logistics Coordinator

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join a busy logistics and supply chain operation. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of international shipments, managing export documentation, and ensuring a high level of service is provided to customers and stakeholders throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments from booking through to final delivery.
• Prepare and process export and shipping documentation.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, suppliers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant customs, regulatory, and company procedures.
• Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and documentation queries in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and operational partners.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to efficient logistics processes.

About You

• Freight Forwarding experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of export processes and shipping documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
