Rate: £350 Outside IR35
Duration: 12 months

The Role:

Are you an experienced foreman looking for a long term contract outside IR35?

I am looking for a foreman to oversee some S278 highways works.

This is a straightforward, well-defined scheme with a groundworks subcontractor delivering the works on site with a couple of gangs. Your role will be predominantly supervisory - managing the subcontractor day to day, keeping the works safe, compliant and on programme, and acting as the eyes and ears on site for the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities:

andmiddot;Day-to-day supervision of the groundworks subcontractor and their gangs
andmiddot;Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with the programme and specification
andmiddot;Overseeing streetworks compliance, traffic management and permit conditions
andmiddot;Maintaining site records, daily diaries and progress reporting
andmiddot;Liaising with the site team, subcontractor supervisors and client representatives
andmiddot;Promoting a strong health and safety culture on site

Requirements:

andmiddot;SMSTS (essential)
andmiddot;Streetworks Supervisor (NRSWA) (essential)
andmiddot;Experience supervising S278 / highways / groundworks packages
andmiddot;Confident managing subcontractors and holding them to standard
andmiddot;Based within commutable distance of Gloucester
