Graduate Town Planner

Cheltenham

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Graduate Town Planner to join an established consultancy in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will be joining supportive team and will have exposure to a variety of projects within the residential, industrial and regeneration sectors.

Qualifications:

In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BSc and ideally an MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline and membership to the RTPI. A full UK drivers licenece is essential for the role.

Experience:

Ideally candidates will have some previous experience of preparing planning applications and appeals, undertaking site development appraisals and liaising with clients, land owners and developers.

Duties:

• Carrying out research on site development potential
• Delivering expert planning advice to clients
• Preparing planning documents
• Preparing and submitting appeal evidence
• Attending client meetings and Planning Committee's
