Job Description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Runcorn area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.-

Shifts: Typically across Monday to Friday but weekend work also may be a requirement-

Roles:

  • HGV Class 1 - Linehaul runs-
  • HGV Class 2 - Bulk runs-

Start Times:-

  • Days - between 7am - 10am starts (bulk runs)
  • Afters - between 12pm - 10pm starts (linehaul runs)

Pay Rate:

  • Bulk runs - -15.83 per hour-

  • Linehaul runs - -18.04 per hour (between 6am -10pm) & -18.79 per hour (between 10pm - 6am)

Location: Runcorn-

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing

The role:

  • Bulk runs - Multi-drop delivery (loading and loading required)-

  • Linehaul runs - Performing trunk runs to the HUB-

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E & C).

  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

  • 6 months minimum experience on the relevant vehicle.

  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.

  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • A safety-first mindset.
