LCV TECHNICIAN - IMMEDIATE START
Location: Warwickshire
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Holiday: 28 days' annual leave
Start: Immediate

We're recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to join an established in-house commercial vehicle workshop.

This is a permanent position maintaining and repairing a company's own commercial van fleet. There are no retail customers and no regular weekend rota - your focus will be keeping vehicles maintained, compliant and on the road.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of vans and LCVs.
Duties will include:
andmiddot;Servicing and maintaining the van and LCV fleet
andmiddot;Mechanical repairs and general maintenance
andmiddot;Diagnostics and fault finding
andmiddot;Brakes, suspension, steering and electrical repairs
andmiddot;Preparing vehicles for MOT
andmiddot;Identifying defects and completing repairs
andmiddot;Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime
andmiddot;Responding to breakdowns where required
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate service and repair records
andmiddot;Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced LCV Technician with:
andmiddot;Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience as an LCV Technician or vehicle mechanic
andmiddot;Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work independently
andmiddot;Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
andmiddot;Experience working on diesel vans and commercial vehicles
andmiddot;Relevant mechanical qualifications preferred
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence
andmiddot;Reliable with a strong work ethic
andmiddot;Able to manage workload without constant supervision
andmiddot;Pride in their work and understanding of the importance of vehicle uptime
