Location: Rotherham
Salary: £51000
Shifts: 4 on 4 off days and nights

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Rotherham.
This is a hands-on maintenance role, working across electrical systems, machinery and production equipment. You will be responsible for breakdowns, fault finding and planned preventative maintenance, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.
The role:
- Electrical fault finding and repairs
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Working with 3-phase motors and variable speed drives
- Fault finding on PLC control systems
- Diagnosing and repairing plant and machinery
- Working closely with production teams
- Identifying ways to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Completing maintenance records and paperwork
- Working safely and following site procedures
You will need:
- Electrical engineering qualification or relevant experience
- At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with PLC control systems
- Experience with motors and drives
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and proactive approach
Mechanical maintenance experience would be an advantage.
