Peterborough | office based with UK travel | route to Director level
An exciting opportunity to be a part of a well established and growing event business as a Senior Sales Executive. The business is an independent events company based in East Midlands, running around 30 automotive events a year across England, Scotland and Wales, and it's growing the sales side.
The role:
You'd sell across the group's event brands, one of which has been running for 45 years.
About you:
Sponsorship or exhibition sales is the ideal background, though strong business-to-business sellers from other sectors are welcome.
About our client:
An independent events company working in the automotive sector, with around 30 UK events a year and a team of 15 in the office, plus specialists brought in for each show. Its brands include a long-running truck show and work with classic car insurers.

The role:
You'd sell across the group's event brands, one of which has been running for 45 years.
- Sell sponsorship, trade space and radio space across roughly 30 events a year
- Put the sponsorship packages together, starting around -13k with room to flex
- Bring in speaker sponsors as well as event sponsors
- Grow existing accounts and win new ones, split about evenly
- Sell airtime on the company's own radio show
- Get out to events across England, Scotland and Wales
- Build the sponsorship packages yourself, then go and sell them
- Company car or allowance, plus uncapped commission
- Half new business, half existing clients, so you're not only hunting
About you:
- You've sold before and can show what you've closed
- You hold a full driving licence
- You live within commuting distance of Peterborough
- You will be creative and dynamic and have that natural sales spark

- Basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000
- Uncapped OTE
- Bonus
- Company car or car allowance
- Based at the Spalding office, with travel to events around the UK
