We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technician / MOT Tester to join a well-established and professional automotive workshop in Tonbridge.

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will be responsible for servicing, inspecting, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Carrying out MOT tests, servicing and vehicle repairs
andmiddot;Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
andmiddot;Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
andmiddot;Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
andmiddot;Completing repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines
andmiddot;Carrying out road tests to confirm repairs have been completed correctly
andmiddot;Checking tyres, brakes, lights and mechanical/electrical components
andmiddot;Fitting customer-requested accessories
andmiddot;Completing all relevant paperwork accurately
andmiddot;Maintaining high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced Vehicle Technicians, Mechanics and MOT Testers from both main dealer and independent garage backgrounds.
You will ideally have:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent experience
andmiddot;A current MOT Tester Licence
andmiddot;A full UK driving licence
andmiddot;Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail
andmiddot;A professional approach to your work
andmiddot;The ability to work independently and as part of a team
andmiddot;A genuine interest in developing your technical skills and career

Working Hours
Monday-Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm on a rota basis
40 hours per week
