We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and established car dealer group based in Chippenham, for a Vehicle Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a long-standing, franchise-approved dealership and develop their career within a supportive team environment.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Ensure vehicle faults are accurately identified and reported to the Service Manager
• Maintain safety, reliability, and performance standards of vehicles
• Adhere to quality procedures set by the client and manufacturer
• Complete work within specified timeframes while ensuring high-quality standards
• Keep accurate documentation of services and repairs
• Assist with vehicle inspections, including MOT testing if qualified (training provided if not yet qualified)
• Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

• Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or higher in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Previous experience working within a franchised dealership or similar environment
• Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently
• Strong team player with a committed attitude
• Ideally possess an active MOT licence (training provided if not)
• Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Chippenham
