VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Christchurch
Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic Salary | OTE Up to £42,000
Hours: Monday to Friday | No Weekend Working
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to the highest standards while ensuring every vehicle is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work
andmiddot;Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
andmiddot;Performing assembly operations to manufacturer standards
andmiddot;Ensuring compliance with manufacturer and health & safety guidelines
andmiddot;Accurately documenting all completed service and repair work
andmiddot;Providing technical advice and support where required
andmiddot;Working collaboratively with the workshop team to maximise productivity
andmiddot;Delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction

ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 qualified technicians with relevant industry experience will also be considered
andmiddot;At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within the automotive industry
andmiddot;Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
andmiddot;MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
andmiddot;Ownership of your own tools and toolbox
andmiddot;A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
andmiddot;Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
andmiddot;The right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
Alternative job titles may include: Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Car Mechanic.
