VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Sidcup
Salary: Up to £45,000 Basic Salary + OTE: £60,000
Hours: Monday to Friday | Saturday 1 in 4, 8:00am - 1:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles
andmiddot;Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
andmiddot;Completing repairs and maintenance operations accurately and efficiently
andmiddot;Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
andmiddot;Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required
andmiddot;Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
andmiddot;Working closely with Service Advisors and other workshop colleagues
andmiddot;Maintaining high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction

ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
andmiddot;At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
andmiddot;Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
andmiddot;MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
andmiddot;Own tools and toolbox
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
andmiddot;Ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
andmiddot;Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
andmiddot;Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
Alternative job titles may include: Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Car Mechanic.
