Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy Supply & Distribution company based in West Bromwich. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while leading a small team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in warehouse supervision, strong organisational skills, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.
- Manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee all Goods In and Goods Out processes.
- Coordinate and assist with the unloading of containers and deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring stock accuracy at all times.
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse methodologies and processes.
- Allocate workloads and direct team members to meet daily targets.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and adhered to.
- Operate FLT equipment where required and assist with warehouse duties.
- Support the team with picking, packing, loading, and general warehouse activities.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments and external suppliers/carriers.
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role within the supply & distribution sector
- Proven track record of leading and motivating warehouse teams.
- Strong understanding of stock control, inventory management, goods in and goods out procedures.
- Experience unloading containers and handling incoming shipments.
- Valid FLT (Forklift / Reach Truck) Licence or have held one before.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to support the team when required.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out warehouse duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Excel knowledge would be advantageous.
